Om de kwaliteit van het netwerk te verbeteren en om aan de groeiende vraag naar bandbreedte te voldoen heeft Base IP twee nieuwe transit providers aangesloten. Het gaat hierbij om Cogent Communications en Globalcrossing, beiden aangesloten via 10G Ethernet. De nieuwe partijen zijn verdeeld over VANCIS/SARA en Telecity 2 te Amsterdam.
